Move Over, Ice Cream. This is Better.

Don't get me wrong: ice cream is delicious. This is an indisputable fact of life. But when you can mimic those classic flavors in a thick, frosty smoothie using nothing more than healthy fruits, nuts, and a little bit of coconut water, is there really even an question as to what's for breakfast (or dessert?) Mark this epic recipe not just a must-try, but as a new staple. (It works great with other berries, too!)

Strawberry Milkshake This rich, deluxe strawberry shake offers more than just a classic flavor! It also provides skin-protective antioxidants, hydrating electrolytes, as well as the satiating power of fiber and healthy fats.

Makes 2 cups / Serves 1

¾ cup frozen strawberries

½ cup ice

3 tablespoons raw cashews

¾ cup coconut water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch sea salt

1 Medjool date, pitted

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth and frosty.
