Carrot-Orange Immunity Juice

Makes 16 ounces


HOW TO MAKE WITH A JUICER:

9-10 large carrots

1 orange, peeled

1 inch fresh turmeric

1-2 inches of fresh ginger (to taste)

Squeeze of fresh lemon

¼ teaspoon camu berry powder


Juice the carrots, orange, turmeric and ginger (depending on the heat of the ginger you use, adjust quantity to taste). Squeeze in the lemon juice, and add the camu powder and goji powder. Use a wire whisk to fully incorporate the powders. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 48 hours.


HOW TO MAKE WITH A BLENDER (NO JUICER):

1½ cups carrot juice (fresh, refrigerated varieties work best)

1 orange, peeled, sliced, and seeded

1 inch fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped

1-2 inches of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped (to taste)

Squeeze of fresh lemon

¼ teaspoon camu berry powder

1 tablespoon dried goji berries


Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until as smooth as possible. Pour into a glass through a fine-mesh sieve to strain. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 48 hours.
